I found this Kickstarter project last year and obviously I bought it immediately. Artists/engineers/designers Oscar Lhermitte and Kudu took the data collected by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, turned that into a 3D model of the moon, 3D printed that, then molded and copied that to produce a 1:20million-scale globe of Luna. Then, since one of the best parts of looking at the moon is appreciating all the dramatic lighting, they added a Sun. It took well over a year to ship, but it was worth the wait. I got mine in the mail a few days ago and it's gorgeous.
