For a class project I made a biped that uses only mechanisms for walking and balancing, no electronic controls. It was a lot of work.
Yes, I know it's a bit wobbly and that we should soften the counterweight impact. We got it working at 3am on the morning it was due. Write up available here for anyone interested.
